The Pretoria Vriendekring Bowls Club is situated in a beautiful, quiet surrounding in the heart of Groenkloof, Pretoria. Three excellent greens cater for men and women bowlers of all ages. Bowls is a sport that can be enjoyed by all ages.

Open days are regularly organized, so bring the whole family! Try your hand at this exciting and sociable sport. Apart from flat sole shoes, you do not need any other equipment. The fun days are normally ended with a bring and braai.

After joining our Club, you will be eased into the formal aspects of bowls. This includes coaching and social games - the so-called "tabs-in" games which are played on Tuesday,  Thursday and Saturday mornings.

At the beginning of each new bowling season, bowlers are requested to enter for the various club competitions and to make themselves available for the league games. League games are played on Saturday afternoons whilst the Club Competitions are played on Saturday mornings and afternoons.
